How do I Join?

You can simply come into the club to fill out our membership subscription forms, or you can call the club on 723366 to arrange for the forms to be emailed through to you.

What are the opening hours?

06.30 – 22.00 Monday to Friday and 08.00 to 20.00 on Saturday and Sundays. Bank Holiday opening times vary.

Are children allowed in the club?

Children under 16 can be signed up to membership as a dependant of a full individual member. This entitles them to various use of the club’s facilities under supervision as stated in the club rules.

Can anyone use the Gym?

We are a private members club however we do offer a visitors fee. This day rate charge is £16.50 and this entitles someone to full use of the clubs facilities for the day. Effectively, they are a member of the club for one day.

Can children go in the Sauna and Steam Room?

Children under 16 are not allowed in the sauna or steam room for health and safety reasons.

Can I use the club as soon as I have joined?

Yes, once we have received the paperwork and initial payment you are free to use the club whilst the membership is processed. We strongly advise all new members to have an induction to the gym which is free of charge.

Are Personal Trainers Available?

There are various personal trainers both male and female, that are available to assist you achieve your targets and goals. We have a profile for each of our trainers. All of our trainers are qualified and trained to assist you to achieve.

How much is it for a Personal Training session?

Charges vary depending on the type of session you choose and the trainer you choose to have it with.

Do you do exercise classes?

The club runs over 50 exercise classes per week consisting of 10 different disciplines. We are the only Platinum BTS club in the Channel Islands offering the infamous Les Mills classes such as Body Pump.

Do classes cost extra?

Classes are free to our members which outlines the fantastic value of a membership. Non-members may also participate for a fee of £8.50 per class and subject to availability.

How can I book in for a class?

Members may book in for a class up to seven days in advance and non members can book up to five days in advance. Contact our reception team for all bookings.

Can non members use Pelicans@Kings?

Pelicans is open to both members and non-members and entry is free of charge.

How long are the swimming pools?

The indoor pool is 16 meters and the outdoor pool is 20 meters.

Can children swim at any time?

Children can swim in the indoor pool between the hours of 10.30 – 17.00 Mondays to Thursdays, 10.30 – 18.00 on Fridays and 11.30 – 19.00 on Saturdays and Sundays.

Are children allowed to use the Jacuzzi?

Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 in the Jacuzzi. Children aged between 8 and 16 must be supervised when using the Jacuzzi, but the supervisor is not required to be in the Jacuzzi with them.

Are there any time limits for use on any piece of equipment?

There are no time limits set, but consideration of other members is appreciated.

How can I make a booking for tennis or squash courts?

A member may book tennis or squash courts up to seven days in advance of the required booking.

How long can I book a tennis court for?

Tennis courts can be booked for a maximum of two hours per session.
